A kinetic facade across the full 100m² front of Zurich’s MuDA / Museum of Digital Art. 805 mechanical pixels rotate individually to control light transmission – daylight managed without curtains, the mechanics of digital display left visible. Kinematics was involved in the design and production of the automation and control system driving the screen. The project was awarded the Design Preis Schweiz.
