Discover Nike Air Lab at Milano Design Week—where innovation, design and Air collide in an immersive experience during the world’s leading design event. The Air Lab laboratory is temporary during MDW and will find a permanent home in Dropcity in fall 2026. Air is captured, compressed, cooled, released and reimagined through a nexus of tools and machines. As the boundaries between exhibition, studio and production site dissolve, the Air Lab extends into a continuous field of investigation where method follows phenomenon. Kinematics produced 2 exhibits designed by AATB, involving robotic arms and vortex air guns, displaying both superchilled and superheated streams of air, rendered visible by frost and thermochromic coatings on metallic surfaces.
